Introducing To The Golby Aquareef
The Aquareef is a British designed watch from brand new microbrand Golby Watches. The watch is designed to be useful in every scenario. Whether you're in the water or waiting for your next call from overseas, counting down until dinner is ready or simply ensuring you arrive on time, this is a fully automatic mechanism powered watch that evokes the spirit of the ocean and the adventures (big or small) that represents.
The Golby Aquareef truly stands out thanks to a unique twist as a Dual Timer watch, using a rotating internal chapter ring to allow the wearer to keep track of the time in two time zones simultaneously. Say you have travelled to a country two hours ahead of home, simply adjust the chapter ring using the second crown until the 2 on the chapter ring is aligned with the normal 12 o'clock position, it's as simple as that.
Featuring a 120-click rotating ceramic bezel incorporating "countdown" minute markers and anti-clockwise rotation, a key feature for any divers watch.
The watch keeps fantastic time, with the incredible workhorse Seiko NH35a movement visible through the Sapphire crystal exhibition case back. The Seiko NH35a automatic movement requires no batteries and is powered by the movement of your wrist, Seiko are world renowned for producing accurate and reliable movements and were the obvious choice for our watch.

Watch Specification
41mm (excluding the crown) 316L stainless steel casing created from a custom mould.
Dual Timer – An internal, coloured rotating chapter ring numbered 1 to 12, tracking a second time zone. Controlled by the second crown that’s screw down. positioned above the 2 o’clock marker.
The engine room of this watch is the Seiko NH35a Automatic Movement. The popular, solid and reliable movement, featuring 24 Jewels, 21,600bph, 41 hours reserve and accuracy of -20 / +40 seconds per day.
10atm / 100m water resistant.
Flat Sapphire Crystal glass, one of the hardest materials known to mankind, making it perfect for a robust diver's watch. The face glass has 5 layers of AR coating applied internally.
120-click countdown ceramic bezel with an anti-clockwise rotation.
Exhibition open case back, encased in Sapphire glass, to view the movement and custom “Golby” marked rotor.

The Bracelet
All our watches will come on a stainless steel bracelet, detailed with a brushed finish and curved ends for the perfect fit to the watch case. Please note that the bracelets in all images are our prototypes, following feedback we have redesigned this to have female end links in order to ensure a better wrist fit, as pictured in the image below.
A “twin pinch” quick release pin system allows you to switch your bracelet in seconds without the need for any tools.
The buckle houses a lift and slide micro-adjuster, that allows for minor adjustments on the fly without the need for any tools. This mechanism allows for up to 9mm of movement, giving ample room for those of you who like to have your watches sit over your wetsuits, or just to give some flexibility of fit throughout the day.
The safety-lock clasp on the buckle, ensures your Golby Aquareef remains safe and sound throughout all your adventures, finished with the Golby branding.
Customise to your wrist size simply using the traditional "pin and collar" system, making it easy to remove excess links.
Unadjusted the bracelet measures 20.35cm in length, measured from the lower curve of the end links (excluding watch).
